PDP CARITAS

Education and practical learning

Audience, role and possible services

We propose learning pathways for people and institutions facing barriers to knowledge and practical skills. Our proposed scope brings together professional development, multilingual learning, international educational cooperation, talent development, learning in humanitarian settings and institutional learning.

Possible outputs

Activities may include practical workshops, translated learning resources, exchanges between educators, mentoring with clear objectives, accessible materials for communities facing hardship, and resources for responsible administration. Intended outputs include learning plans, resources, participation records and feedback on learning. We do not describe these outputs as recognized qualifications.

Conditions for activity

Before opening a programme, we will identify its responsible organization, instructors, resources, audience protections and any applicable approval. Formal qualifications and regulated provision require the appropriate authorized provider. This is a proposed capability, not an announcement of an operating course.

Illustrative pathway

Illustrative pathway: a multilingual learning brief identifies a learner group and practical objective; PDP could prepare an accessible guide and workshop plan, then ask an authorized instructor to review delivery. The output would be a dated plan and resource pack, not a qualification or an open course.
