Institutional Leadership

Leadership

Founding continuity. Executive responsibility. PDP CARITAS maintains a clear distinction between founding and spiritual leadership and executive management.

Founding continuity. Executive responsibility.

PDP CARITAS maintains a clear distinction between founding and spiritual leadership and executive management.

Our leadership structure combines the institutional continuity and founding vision of Hegumen Daniel (Davit Kiknadze) with the executive, administrative and strategic responsibilities entrusted to Dr. Ami Zara.

This distinction establishes clear responsibility while preserving the founding principles and long-term institutional direction of the organization.

Distinct roles. Shared institutional purpose.

The governance structure of PDP CARITAS distinguishes between two complementary areas of responsibility.

Hegumen Daniel (Davit Kiknadze), Founder & Spiritual Leader, is responsible for founding continuity, institutional vision, spiritual guidance and long-term orientation.

Dr. Ami Zara, Director-General & Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for executive administration, organizational governance, strategy, international coordination and institutional implementation.

This separation allows the organization to preserve continuity of purpose while maintaining clear and identifiable responsibility for executive decisions and operational management.

Central Organization of Orthodox Europe
(Light Savior Foundation)

The wider institutional framework is connected with the Central Organization of Orthodox Europe (Light Savior Foundation).

Within this framework, Hegumen Daniel (Davit Kiknadze) serves as Founder and Spiritual Leader, and Dr. Ami Zara serves as Director-General.

A consistent governance model across distinct organizations

Where supported by the respective organizational records, affiliated and cooperating organizations identify leadership using the same clear structure: Hegumen Daniel (Davit Kiknadze), Founder & Spiritual Leader, and Dr. Ami Zara, Director-General & Chief Executive Officer.

Each organization nevertheless retains its own legal identity, jurisdiction, governance framework, registration information and institutional responsibilities.

The presence of common leadership does not merge separate legal organizations into a single legal entity.
